I bought this set from their *legitimate* Etsy shop. Same crew and not an unauthorized 3rd party seller. I printed a few too. My experience is that the scale is totally off, but manageable. I had to increase the scale. I don't recall exactly how much, but it was substantial. Maybe 150% to bring them to a scale compatible with 28mm figures. I had to do several trial and error prints to get it right so lots of wasted filament. Second issue is the mound of dirt they put around each building. It's annoying and limits the versatility of the model. You can't get them super close to each other if you wanted to and the edge is more of a large curb so having a figure placed there is awkward. Third issue is that many of the parts are very fragile or can be problematic to print unless you use a lot of support. Some files were larger than my 250 by 250 mm print area and I had to slice and chop files for print and later glue back together. Given the above drawbacks, they are highly detailed and nice looking when successfully printed, I just have some issues with them not being usable out of the box for game play. Overall, I feel the package of files is almost a fair value for the money spent given you have the additional time and skills to adjust, support, and deal with the issues listed above. |

The bases would waste material. Would be easier, quicker, cheaper to just glue stripa of balsa, popsticks or card. Especially for the water tower and windmill. You could get away with corrugated card or plastic for walls, to speed things up. The type with no covering on one side. |
