I swore I remember there being a website that listed a ton of US retailers that sold WW2 15mm items.

Ring a bell for anyone?

Also, mind sharing with me where you guys buy your 15mm WW2 stuff? Sadly, where I live, everything is Warhammer.

A few game shops sell Flames of War stuff. There are always online retailers, like Miniature Market that sell from the US so shipping is not a big problem. Not surprisingly you can get 15mm figures on Amazon as well.

For vehicles I 3d print them. If you don't have a printer people sell them on places like Etsy. Just another option for you.

@DeRuyter

I'm a proponent of 3d printed items, but not for WW2 gaming. Tons of plastic options, just it will have to be online options.

Old Glory 25s has the Command Decision line.

Plastic Soldier Company boxes appear to be raedily available on line (last I looked, anyway).

For vehicles and heavy guns there is this. gamodls.com

They make a wide selection and put a base coat on them too.

19th Century Miniatures carries Quality Castings 15mm WW2 -- link

I carried 19th Century Quality Castings for years. I also carried other 15mm ranges. BF was carried by so many stores that I did not carry much of them though I carried the New Zealand range before Flames of Ar.
Brigade games may import some UK ranges. Not sure now.
Buying straight from 19th century is an easy quick fill option.
Or you have the option of going 10/12mm

captaincold6910 May 2024 1:42 p.m. PST

@TimePortal

I entertained the idea of 10/12mm but 15mm is more readily available (albeit online), more variety, predominately plastics and the same cost as 12mm.

Also, I don't see that big of a "footprint" difference between the 2 scales.

TimePortal10 May 2024 2:15 p.m. PST

Difference used to be in price. Mounting bases were the same for both scales.
So the prices are the same today? A little bit of a surprise.

A box of Victrix 12mm tanks is $30 USDish US. Same price for a box of 15mm. I have some 12mm 3d printed Sherman's and they aren't that much smaller than 15mm.

It wasn't long ago some folks here were comparing 10mm vs 12mm/1-144th about how different the two are! As far as I am concerned, while there can be a visible difference in size of some vehicles, "I" would allow both on the table for a game. Rather use the right vehicle than a proxy! Now 15 vs 12mm- that might be a "Bridge too far" for the same table…/>)

captaincold6910 May 2024 2:53 p.m. PST

I agree! While the footprint of the 2 scales is similar, you couldn't have them both on the table.
