Fighter Duel Lite, or FD Lite is a newly published chanceless WW2 fighter game by Phil Sabin, available as a VASSAL module here. This is a game between Phil and myself, played a few days ago online.

The game is very well suited for online play since there are so few pieces and little record keeping, i.e. it's not fussy.

We ended with a draw which, considering it was the first time I'd ever played the game, wasn't too bad.

Battle report here.

In the zoomed-in view below, my fighters have passed between Phil's fighters who are beginning to turn to engage them.

Incidentally, this was designed initially as a miniatures game and works very well with figures. Here is {url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ts0HqvecIw8]a video of a miniatures game.
