I was fortunate enough to sit down and chat with Nick Jellicoe, the Grandson of the British Admiral at Jutland and spend a great few hours covering all aspects of the Battle. The chat was that long I split it in two !

link

Part one (link above) covers a bit of background on Nick and also the remarkable story of his father George and his exploits in the SAS in WW2 before setting the scene for the Battle with a chat about the Navies and the characters involved.

link

Part two (link above) covers the battle itself in detail and then we close with a chat about John Jellicoes life after the Battle and Nicks involvement in the 2016 centenary commemoration.

Hope you enjoy it, avaliable from all major Podcast hosts as well as the links above.
