I just got my box of these and they are great! The usual Perry attention to proportion and posing with loads of crisp detail. Full review here; link

Excellent review, Anton. Thanks. Even though I don't game Napoleonics any more, I always liked the DoW army and their uniforms.

I find myself intimidated by all the little bits.

Sticking the little bits on is a cinch. It is the painting, which is now onto material far more detailed than any cast metal ever was. That is where madness lies, not to mention the work to hide the joins. The conversion potential for hard plastic figures in such a kit form is just incredible

Yep, picked up a box. No telling when ah'll get to them, though :/
Deadhead's right. Not to mention that the spiffy poses you create can be almost impossible to get the brush to :( LOL

@ Anton, great review, but my eyes are getting old and spotting shakos or Czapkas is too much. Simple question how many plumed Czapka's on each of the three sprues, command, elite and center.

PS, got my magnifying glass out and sorted it

Mark J Wilson, sorry, I haven't checked in for a while. I'm glad you found what you were looking for.

@ Anton, not a problem: I also mailed the Perry's so it might be worth pointing out for those wondering how 6 sprues of 5 plus 2 sprues of 4 plus a sprue of 7 adds up to a 44 figure unit. The reason being that you get two drummers in the sprue of 7 in different uniforms so for 1 specific battalion you can only use 44 figures.
