So I'm at Little Wars and a guy walks up and says "Are you on TMP?"
"Yes I am." I say.
"Are you Bill Armintrout? The guy that runs it?" He asks me.
"No…no I am not." I say as I show him my badge to confirm my identity.
"Oh." He says and walks away.
Has anyone else ever been asked this? |

I was recently in a laundromat and 3 people came in a few minutes apart. The first one asked me if I was Bishop Parsons. I explained I was not. Had a little old lady pester me in a store, convinced I was a local TV reporter. Now a few years early I had a run on Jeopardy, so I explained the likely cause of confusion, but she was not having it. she firmly declared "I've seen you on my TV regularly". So I just asked her "Do you watch porn? That might be it". With a shocked look, she scuttled off. |
