Nice looking model – I think that is the tank model my Uncle had in the Korean War. He was in 72nd Heavy Tank Battalion, Charlie Company. 1st Platoon, 2nd Tank. Number on turrent – 12.

Could be it was the most common Sherman retained by the US Army after WWII.
