Both Bolt Action and Age of Sigmar have announced new editions. How does the news affect your hobby? 1) Full stop on playing, buying and building 2) I keep playing/painting but stop buying 3) I might buy with caution 4) business as usual 5) Time to stock up! Anything on clearance? |

Since I don't play either one it has no effect on me. |

I have a British 8th army platoon… I'll play with it until I can't and pass it on. |

4) I play neither one. In fact, I actively avoid edition-prone rules by people who sell miniatures. |

I haven't decided yet. My local group doesn't like Bolt Action, preferring Chain of Command. However, that has been falling by the wayside lately. A couple other local groups do play Bolt Action, but I haven't been pushy enough to get in with them. If I am more successful, I'll change to 3rd edition Bolt Action rules. It is sort of becoming the dominant WWII skirmish game locally. I also have one of the more obscure armies for WWII. One company is making noises like they might decide to think about producing new figures for this army. If they do, and I like the figures, I might go ahead and buy a new platoon and spring for the new Bolt Action rules. I'm also waiting to see how comprehensive the changes in rules and army lists are. I've heard people still play 1st edition rules. I don't play Age of Sigmar, so I have mainly been looking at the new figures coming out to see if I could use them for my own Viking games. Grelber |

4 for Bolt Action. Well, I'm not actively playing it right now, but if I were there would be no reason to stop buying and painting minis. Points values might be shaken up a bit, but all the figures and vehicles will still be perfectly useful in the next edition. WW2 is WW2! No interest in Age of Sigmar. GW may indeed make some figures obsolete, that's a whole different kettle of capitalism with them. |

Absolutely nothing. I don't play either and don't to start. |

This has no effect on me. I really ought to stop buying new stuff though! (Says the guy who bought a bunch of triremes 5 hours ago.) And yes, I will get BA3 when it's out! |

4) business as usual I have a BA rulebook, dice and enough figures for 2 factions to put on a game and muddle through. Unless suddenly a bunch of local people appear and game at a time I can join them I probably won't buy the new addition. Can't say I know much about AoS. |

4. Don't play either game, don't collect anything in those scales. |

I will look on EBay for the discount dumps of people who are pissed off about the change. |

Makes no difference – I don't play either. i do have quite a lot of AOS figures, but not using for AOS. |
