Do you play "the only officially sanctioned Napoleonic variant of Rich Hasenauer's Fire & Fury ACW rules"? |

No, and I've never seen it played at the local cons I've been attending. If you have a "don't play Napoleonics" I would guess that would be the dominant answer. Perhaps limit it to people who play or have played Napoleonics? |

Yes. I have not been able to play Napoleonics very often, but the last few times has been with Age of Eagles |

Yes. I would like to try the Age of Tigers variant on his web site for the Sikh Wars, but that looks like a ton of painting! |

I have played several games of it at conventions and always enjoyed it, both Napoleonic as well as 18th and 19th century versions. Gave a good and fun game. |

Yes, but only because everyone else plays it here. |

Have played a few times. Not bad. Then, again, ah like F&F :) |

I have played it a few years ago and liked it, but current group use Napoleon's Battles for this level of game, so unlikely to play again, except as a solo game. . We do sometimes adopt AoE scenarios for NB games. Rules are well supported. |
| dantheman | 18 Apr 2024 9:33 a.m. PST |
Yes, but not often. Requires lots of figures, labels, and time to set up and play. Therefore, only good for a weekend get together with several friends. I just don't have the time, figures, or friends willing to do this these days. Otherwise I would play more often. Same with Napoleon's Battles which is a similar scale. |

No. Either 30mm CLS, any of several individual-figure based games of the Charge! variety in 28mm or a modified Wessencraft in 6mm. As dantheman points out, quite a bit of prep required for F&F and any of the clones, and printing out labels (which will be different for the next game) is not my idea of entertainment. Quite a bit of table clutter required, too. Not wrong, any of it--just not my idea of fun game prep or a good-looking table. |

Just got done playing the Berezina scenario with AoE. Next up is la Souffel 28 June 1815, which is a very small scenario [12-13 brigades per side]. Might make a good convention scenario. |

I'd like to give it a couple of games, but never actually had a chance. |
