There were apt of POWs sent to Fort McClellan in Alabama. In the 1970s they uncovered several large murals that covered the wall of the Officers Club and HQ. |

Most of the Afrika Korps wound up in Oklahoma on the grounds that the climate was closer to their point of capture--Tunisia! TVAG |
