After building armies for Altar of Freedom in 2mm using home made figures for the infantry the madness has struck again! I have recently been blogging about early 17th Century armies. That turned into can I recreate some of the formations using my Irregular Miniatures 2mm blocks. That then turned into would it look better with bigger pike blocks and next thing I know I'm drawing figures on the computer. More details and progress so far on creating TYW armies in 2mm with matchsticks on my blog at: link I'm not crazy honestly, I just get these 2mm rushes of blood from time to time |

sure, your not crazy. Just like when I started painting figures for 1866 austria vs Prussia. I decided it would be crazy to paint 1000 figures for the period without playing a game. so when I finished 956 figures, I played a solo game. Still painting… |

Are you going to do fold tab for the side of these units? |

Hi BillyNM. I tried a side tab on the ACW matchstick figures but found it hard to get them to line up. It was easier to paint the ends greenand put some dots of colour on to represent coats and trousers hats etc. |
