It seems that Irregular has the only range of 6mm Eastern European minis for the Renaissance. I have heard that the Irregular ranges are mixed in quality, does anyone have a review of this range??

Additionally, the website is kind of confusing, is each item a strip??

Any help is appreciated.

There are pictures of them painted up on the web site, and these vary in quality depending on who did the painting, so it's a little hard to say. They are not "super detailed 6mm" like e.g. Baccus make but they do paint up ok and look good en masse. They are marginally cheaper than e.g. Baccus. They are supplied on bases with figures in close or open order as appropriate.

Not a strip but a block. Each block will have four to six figures on it depending on the troop type or range. The positives of Irregular is you can buy individual blocks in the amount you need and thus it makes a project much cheaper. They are not great looking figures in the plain metal, yet, as it is often stated, they look much better when they are painted and look good on the table.

I have a few of these but most not painted yet. Had them a while, just never got to completing the Renaissance armies for Maximillian.
As with almost all Irregular's ranges, some are better than others and there a few gems and some poorer than most. My memory is that the LO infantry were the weakest, most of the cavalry were OK to better and the Ottoman infantry were goodish. They are put away at present but accessible if you can say specific codes that are of interest and I'll dig them out and see if I have them and can comment further then.

GildasFacit, would you be interested in selling them??

Irregular is always prompt, friendly and courteous, and usually paints up well. Do keep in mind that whether you call them strips or blocks, 6mm are multiple castings on a base. Works fine for troops in close order, but be sure to base them so you don't have to handle the troops themselves. Otherwise skirmishers especially are a little vulnerable around the ankles. My experience has mostly been Age of Reason with a spot of Ancients, but I've found them perfectly satisfactory.

I do like Irregular – have fantasy, Renaissance, some ancients, and some other stuff from their 6mm range. And they have always been super good to order from.
