You were asked – TMP link

On a scale of 0 (no problem) to 10 (crisis), how would you rate your cat(s) in terms of causing problems for your miniature wargaming hobby?

Average response: 3.03

Oddly enough, a .303 would also take care of any cat problem.

With my 1/600 ship, aircraft and land collection, and multiple cats, it's be a miniature Operation Crossroads level event.

1/2 – I occasionally see a stray hair on my painting desk, otherwise no problem.

.308 removes the cat completely…

I loved my cats, other than wanting lap time while painting they were not a problem. Miss them now.

0. While I sometimes have to put terrain back after their passing, their curiosity and humour more than makes up for it. Love my 3 kitties.😺😺😺

My cat is a zero. She leaves my tabletop alone. Occasionally she'll want attention while I am painting, but those times are rare.
My daughter's cat is a 9.5!!! I had set up the La Bataille Battle of Moscova (Borodino). We were playing an alt-history scenario that made use of Davout's suggested plan to outflank the Russians. Things were going well… the French had rolled up the Russian left flank and were set to strike deep into the Russian reserves when we called it a night. Sometime during the night, the decidedly anti-French cat jumped up on the table and swatted the entire French right onto the floor. Oddly enough, not a single Russian counter was ejected, while the entirety of the Polish Corps and much of Davout's Corp were scattered about the floor!!!
Evil little %#$%…

Cats taste terrible unless you really know how to Cook them
right.

Every time I did some painting, our one cat insisted on drinking out of the jar I used to rinse my brush between colors. I think she liked the light bodied taste of Vallejo, but sometimes preferred a full bodied craft paint. She lived to be 20 years old, so there must have been something in those paints.
