"These chaps have been hanging around the stash for years, they came as part of a HaT set with Lutzow's Freicorps. So at last I removed the bearskins from the majority of them and replaced them with heads from the Zvezda French Artillery…"

The Zvezda French artillery must be one of the most useful items in plastic 20mm conversion. Great castings and modelling, with some very useful poses. I have just finished using several boxes to create a Netherlands HA battery with train and a Foot Artillery battery of the Guard (using the Zvezda Grenadiers of the Guard). I have moral qualms about purchasing them, but they are coming from UK stocks and, let's face it, they are unbeatable.

These Nassau are genius.

I agree these are clever conversions.

Looking at Will's blog he clearly has a collection which is either approaching or has exceeded 30,000 figs.

There are some very neat conversions in that lot, my favorites of which are some of the old Airfix legions which he has been retiring. The replacements make it clear why.
