Can anyone recommend books that describe the actions of the Austrians during the Napoleon's war of 1812 against the Russian Empire?
I'm interersted in that southern flank of advance and especially on any French or Austrian plans on Ukraine.
I've only read Zamoisky but he's focused on he march on Moscow itself.

As the Saxon Corps was part of the Southern theatre, you might want to add below (good maps):

Danke sehr, Prince of Essling!
I see that this topic apparently needs to be covered by modern scholars…

I have extracted two useful files from Mitteilungen des k.u.k. Kriegsarchivs (1884) which I have made available for download:

Die Thielnahme des k.k. österreichische Auxiliarcorps unter commando des GDC Fursten Carl zu Schwarzenburg (has a good map at the very end showing the routes of the Austrian Auxiliary Corps – it cam be blown up to a high resolution) PDF link

Der Schlacht bei Poddubie (Gorodeczno) 12 August 1812 (has a useful map at the end showing the battle) PDF link

The records books covered 1809 and late 1790s. But no 1812 yet.

Prince of Essling

In case you have a link for the Mitteilungen – that would be great – I did not have this one of 1884 – seemingly full of interesting articles. Thanks for the downloads.

@vW,
The complete set of Mitteilungen des k.u.k. Kriegsarchivs including Supplements can be found at link
Unfortunately you can only download 25 pages at a time, so you have to batch up multiple downloads before you get the complete set of pages for any single volume. I then use PDF24 to merge the pages into a single volume.
Have sent you offline a complete joined up version of 1884.
