I tried out a game of Chris Peers Death in the Dark Continent recently pitting my Central African Rifles against some Swahili Slavers. An interesting set of rules that I will explore more for my Darkest Africa gaming in the future.

Very interesting AAr and beautiful kit, Prince Rupert!
Agree, it does seem odd large size of unit doesn't help with combat.

Great AAR and figs

As to the Brits, next time they should bring along a Maxim – because

I just found this game and thought it looked quite interesting. Your report is very enlightening. Does anyone know of a YouTube video that explains how to play?
