An excellent read, thankyou. It seems that if a greater percentage of Spanish officers were actually leaders like old mate, the early catastrophes may not have happened.

You are right, that is a great scenario sitting in that tale.

A great period! Working on painting all my acquisitions. In recent years more English sources have appeared. There is a complete line of miniatures made in Spain for this period. I highly recommend doing the period.
