At our group's game event this weekend, chaos reigned, as Battle Masters hit the table and waged war all afternoon.

Will P. and his friend specifically came to play, as Milton Bradley's Battle Masters was their gateway into wargaming, fond decades ago -

They both split a game victory, with much ebb and flow witnessed, their fortunes rising and dying as the action cards played a fickle master (along with their die-rolling too). ;)

Our buddy Warren, who arrived late to the shop, having traveled a couple hours to attend the event, was happy to see Battle Masters keying up for its third go-around.

I even got to play the fourth game.

There was much March Madness, and good times!

Great times playing the game. At one time I had 4 sets and played them together. Most of the pieces went into my Warhammer armies. Glad you all had a good time!

Thank You JMC.

I joked with the guys that Battle Masters was certainly sold as a kid's game back then – yesterday though, it seemed like a perfect old farts game too.

"America's Warhammer" – out of the box, it's stayed and plays the same now for over thirty years running…..

Love how colorful it is! Looks like just plain fun time.

Hey Marc!

Yes, it all seems to have some sort of magnetic affect, as if there's something enshrined down in the depths of that forlon keep.

I think the Chaos army might be drawn by such powers, to fight by their hordes over these spots…..well, I know the table did get some passing looks by the shop-goers at least. :)))

Great pics of a great game. BattleMasters has been a favorite of mine for years.
It deserves a redo.

I forgot how nice some of these minis were especially the goblin wolf rider. Thanks for sharing.

Very impressive painting, indeed! They look better than I expected them to. Puts my army painting style to shame, but these mini's will never grace my table alongside my BattleMasters figures, so it's all good. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
