I have MA Fantasy and MA Invasion. At the end of the invasion file are some army lists, some of which have some traits I cannot find either in that ruleset or the main one.

Namely, there are units with the Undead trait and some with the Druid trait. I think it's possible that the Druids are just rebranded spellcasters? If so it's very odd to rename a trait like that.

As for Undead, there is a section about the Campaign game in the main rules that does have some special rules for the undead faction. However, these aren't really presented as a trait you pay for, simply extra rules that Undead units must follow in the campaign game. The other mention is in the Summoning rules which mentions undead units but there is no special trait to add.

Is the Undead trait in those army lists in Invasion just a way to mark those units as units that can be summoned or should follow the undead faction rules if playing a campaign game? Otherwise I can't seem to find any real gameplay rules.

**Edit: picked up Dark Elves supplement and found some more traits I cannot find elsewhere. Some are marked as veteran and some as elite. Again, these aren't listed in the original rules and aren't listed in the Dark Elves book either, though it does give some new traits.

I'm assuming these must be in the army lists? I do see in the campaign rules there's a rule for the elves that they cannot use elite units but again there is no indication in the rules what that means.

Perplexing.

Thanks

Are Mighty Armies still put out by Mike at Rebel miniatures?

I worked on several Mighty Army sets in the past. I helped research army list concepts.
Glad he is still at it, if this is my friend at Rebel.

IIRC Veteran and Elite appear in Mighty Armies: Ancients. It offers a few new options for troops. The core mechanics are the same.
