Just found out Warbases can't cut large circles so. – who else is in the mdf basing market that people are using? I've no experience of other basing companies.

I'm looking for 15 and 17cm circles. So definitely bigger than standard basing

Thanks

Try Pendraken. Leon is always helpful regarding customising basing requests.

Also Products for Wargamers have created big bases for me in the past

Try Etsy?

I think Warbases might have 'turned off' custom jobs for a while as Glenn's just had a baby and they'll be focussed on Salute prep?

We can cut some circles for you though, no worries at all. Shoot me an email if we can help: pendraken.co.uk/contact

If you need custom cut bases try foamed PVC boards. Easy to cut in any shape and they don't warp. Plus you can get any thickness you want

I'll second Etsy. I needed MDF Equilateral Triangles to make a d20 Globe, in a particular size, not offered by anyone on Etsy. I contacted one of the Etsy sellers asking for a precise size, in millimeters. They charged me a fixed rate for 20 of them. They fit together, perfectly.

I used PVA Glue to attach them to a 1"-hex sheet of heavy paper, cut to the d20 shape, then I Hot Glued them together, to form the d20 Globe.

Etsy MDF sellers use a Laptop/PC controlled, 40W(+) Laser Cutter, so custom sizes are not difficult for them to make. Most will do custom orders if you just inquire. Cheers!

It might be worth looking in your local hardware store too. In Australia, Bunnings in their craft sections have round mdfs cut to various sizes, I bought some 20cm which i use for terrain basing such as woods and grassland.
