Hello all! I put in an order a bit over a week ago for some 1/3000 before I saw that NavWar was still operational. I don't mind waiting but my order was acknowledged and has been processing for a bit. Not an issue as I figured they might be casting ships. However, I've sent an e-mail asking about a second order (I live in the US now but wanted to ask what lead time for processing needs to be if I want some ships sent to a mate in the UK (I visit annually for research and archaeology work) so I can save on postage (more money for ships!)). I never heard back from their contact form so I've tried again. Does anyone know if this silence is typical? I couldn't find any other way to contact them so not sure if the form is broken or they're having issues (like many other small UK firms post-Brexit/post-Covid). Again, not expecting instanteous packing and posting but was surprised at the complete radio silence. Just hoping everything is okay! Thanks,
Michael |

I received an order from them last week. Emails often get overlooked, or dumped into the junk folder. Get your mate in the UK to give them a ring during opening hours. |

Thanks, Old China. The 8 hour time difference is a pain so I'll see if I can do that or, rather, ask my mate to do that. I couldn't find their number anywhere on their website though. The Contact Us form is all I could find. I'll go back and see if I can find a number. Or, if you don't mind sharing, do you have it? I can't seem to find anything on their website aside from their contact form. |

They might charge you VAT if they hand it over to a British national in the UK, no? |

Oh, I planned on that, Nine pound round, but it's still a bit cheaper than postage. Having my NavWar order posted to my mate, too. I visit in June so I don't mind waiting 3 more months if I can save on postage. |

Update: Order arrived! Turns out their contact form wasn't forwarding on messages to their main e-mail but all sorted! :) Happy customer here with more goodies to paint (to add to my mountain, at least). |
