After several individuals on here who are out to destroy us online because their mat didnt turn up 6 years ago!, We have vastly improved all our services which is shown in all our feedback (LOOK AT ETSY) We have a very small percentage of issues, which are normally courier related. We have improved delivery times, prices and quality! All the moaners on here are either people who DONT want help or are postings from competitors! IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE THEN EMAIL US AND WE WILL SORT IT!!! Instead of trying to ruin a wargame business over a £30.00 GBP sale why not try to reachout and sort any issues, we have 15000 HAPPY customers!!

I bought a couple of mats from you and the sale and delivery went fine. Nice mats, too. I haven't bought since due to the deplorable state of global shipping for all products, not just yours, but that isn't something you can control. I'm sorry a couple people here have had a grudge. I honestly didn't really take note because on every site there are haters.

Shouting like this, though, isn't a great look. I get it, you are frustrated, but maybe plead your case before shouting it at everyone?

I hope are ok and that the haters don't bring you down.

Tgerritsen Is absolutely correct in his response. The previous history which has been posted and now your shouting at customers & potential customers is not the way to build/rebuild your business. Hopefully things have corrected themselves and all has or will work out but this type of post gains you absolutely nothing.

I certainly would not and will not respond to it with an order for your game mats simply based upon your shouting at customers as described by Tgerritsen.

I really don't see any evidence of this on the forum.

Tinywargames14 Mar 2024 12:27 p.m. PST

Shouting is the only way a minority of customers listen! They just like to moan and not sort out any issues!

AS SOMEONE WHO IS LiSTENING-IMPARED, I THANK YOU.

Visited your website; there are some lovely mats there.

Tiny, there's an old story about an American politician who during an election campaign, suggested to his campaign manager that they start a rumor his opponent had sex with animals.

"But [REDACTED]" the campaign manager said, "he'd never do anything like that!"

"I know," said the politician, "but let's see whether we can get him to deny it in public."

Running around saying "we're not overpriced and we don't have delivery issues!" seldom works well. Comments like Tgerritson's do.

Just to be clear there a many of us (not a few haters) who have reported to the community that Tinywargames has had a history of poor communication, chronic mistakes in fulfilling orders and failed order delivery. I do hope there have been drastic improvements in all three areas over the past few years. From what I see I'm still sceptical but more positive reports from people like Tgerritson will certainly go some way to repairing the reputational damage suffered here. And I want to say that my one mat from TW is superb so major improvements around delivery will be most appreciated.

A link would have been helpful.

Volleyfire26 Mar 2024 3:45 p.m. PST

Ordered 3 mats on Sunday 17th, they were shipped out on Weds20th and arrived with Parcelfarce on Monday 25th. The only quibble I have is with Parcelfarce whose photo of proof of delivery could have been anywhere on Planet Earth where there is tarmac, apart from that I can't find any fault with Tiny. Bought from them before with no issues.

Royston Papworth06 Jul 2024 11:12 a.m. PST

Hi TinyWargames, I have emailed a few times and left a phone message, can you get back to me about the status of my replacement mat?

The H Man08 Jul 2024 1:35 a.m. PST

I just read the capitals as emphasising the words, not shouting.

It seems weird if people take offence or get upset because someone put a few lines of note in capitals.

Especially as it's a business type post.

I do get the politician angle, but would need to see photos.

Maybe those with a good line of communication with Richard can help out Royston. Like all those happy customers.

AaronXR13 Aug 2024 1:33 p.m. PST

Unfortunately I must report that I am just one more schmuck who has been taken by Tinywargames.
Order placed in May 2024.
After sending 4 chase up emails for any status, update, or any 'tracking' details for items supposedly 'shipped', absolutely no response, either by email or their telephone inbox.
It is now August 2024, 3 months later, nothing.
Buyer beware.

Marcus Brutus Supporting Member of TMP14 Aug 2024 10:11 a.m. PST

Sorry to hear that Aaron. There is definitely something wrong going on at Tinywargames. This should not be happening again and again.

Marcus Brutus Supporting Member of TMP16 Aug 2024 12:36 p.m. PST

Keeping this alive!

AaronXR18 Aug 2024 8:12 a.m. PST

I have received an email from Tinywargames yesterday that says they have just found my emails in their spam folder and that they will now send to production.

Marcus Brutus Supporting Member of TMP20 Aug 2024 8:58 a.m. PST

What do you make of that Aaron?

AaronXR20 Aug 2024 2:22 p.m. PST

I'm hoping that they read this thread and that I'll get my two play mats!

Someone on one of my facebook groups has a very recent tale of woe of his own. This is self inflicted, is it not?

BrunoS29 Aug 2024 5:09 a.m. PST

Hello everybody.
As an update, more than one year has now passed since my original order of 2 wargame mats to Tiny Wargames. Apart from a few illusory and useless messages received from them by the time, no mats have ever been sent to me. I can now safely tell you all that Tiny Wargames have robbed me of 204 British pounds, as no refunding has been granted to me.
Be warned then, that has been my personal experience with Tiny Wargames.
Bruno,
Italy.

Jcfrog11 Oct 2024 12:23 p.m. PST

Well, the history started last century…

AaronXR19 Nov 2024 10:44 a.m. PST

Update: Tinywargames had the audacity today to send me a marketing email about some 'new' products and a 15% discount code.

I am still waiting for my REFUND for over 6 months ago (May 2024) as I have basically given up on ever receiving the goods ordered.

Apparently order still in 'processing', for half a year.

They still don't answer their phone or reply to emails.

Buyer beware of online orders.

Volleyfire30 Dec 2024 5:25 a.m. PST

Tiny was apparently bought out at the end of August, the new owner has since discovered that he was mis-sold the business and is seeking to take Richard Bailey to court as Richard is refusing to act amicably and in good faith according to an email I've just seen. Wesley Fitton, the new owner asks that any persons who haven't received items they ordered please contact him at Sales@tinywargamesinfo.com with full name, Order number (if you can still find it) Date of purchase, method of payment and Items ordered. To try and begin to restore faith in Tiny he is offering 10% discount on orders whilst he tries to build a case against Richard Bailey that he can present in a court of law.

Marcus Brutus Supporting Member of TMP31 Dec 2024 10:05 a.m. PST

Interesting news Volleyfire. I can't open the tinywargames website. Sounds like Richard Bailey's business practices are as reprehensible as we thought. Good luck to Wesley! Perhaps he could come on TMP and let us know directly what is going on with tinywargames and his plans for the business.

BrunoS23 Jan 2025 6:52 a.m. PST

I am waiting for a refund of 204 British pounds since August 2023…!
Tons of emails and empty promises from them, to no avail.

Marcus Brutus Supporting Member of TMP23 Jan 2025 8:29 a.m. PST

Take a look at tinywargames.co.uk. You get redirected to a new website tinysites.wixsite.com/update

You will see a disclaimer on the front page. Then an invitation to go to a sister website called Warmats.

This disclaimer sure sounds like Richard Bailey to me but how do we know? How do we know that Wesley Fitton is a real person? He probably is a real person but in this digital world could this whole things a ruse by Richard? Makes me wonder.

Either way, what nasty piece of work Bailey has turned out to be.

Announcement: Closing Tinywargames

Dear Customers and Supporters,

After many years of dedication to the wargaming community, I have made the difficult decision to close Tinywargames. This business has been a labor of love, and while there have been many highs, the increasing negativity and challenges from a small but vocal minority of the community have made it impossible to continue with the same passion and energy.

Over the years, Tinywargames has achieved so much. We created over 400 unique products, attended 100 shows, generated £750,000.00 GBP in sales, and served over 12,500 customers worldwide. We even had the honour of creating the world's biggest wargame mat! These milestones are something I will always be proud of, and I am incredibly grateful to the customers who supported us and helped make these achievements possible.

We recently launched Warmats as a new product to provide something fresh for the hobby, but even that has been overshadowed by the ongoing negativity. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but the level of toxicity from a minority has been relentless, causing immense stress and even impacting my health. It's simply not worth it anymore.

We even explored selling the business to another party in hopes they could take it forward, but unfortunately, they only made things worse and created even more issues. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has reinforced my decision to step away from Tinywargames entirely.

You only have to look at companies like Games Workshop, a billion-pound business, to see that even the most successful brands are not immune to harsh comments from communities. However, for a small business like ours, this kind of negativity is exhausting and unsustainable. A handful of negative customers have finally pushed me over the edge.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Tinywargames over the years. To our loyal customers and those who truly valued our products—you have been the reason we kept going, and I cannot thank you enough.

Thank you to those who supported us through the years—you've made a difference, and I will always appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Richard Bailey
