More GHQ models. I'll say, in my defence, that they make such high quality stuff it's hard to resist. And, since I'm a naval fan, all of them will find a place in my wargaming projects (beyond of course my current building of a Java Sea campaign for NIMITZ)

Let's start with the whole lot : with 1 BB, 1 BC, 2 pocket battleships, 2 CA, 2 CL and 6 Zerstörer, I have nearly enough to handle all historical surface engagements of the DKM. Just toying with the idea of a Murmansk run campaign…

So now, here's the whole collection :

and some of these ships have already made an appearance here, since I've poosted AARs of my Denmark Strait and Rio de la Plata games…

So here's the new stuff (don't ask me why Lutzow is turning its back on its shipmates *wink/)

I've been lengthy, but you'll have to stand a bit more of iyt. Now some bigger views of the new ships. Let's start with the Zersörer, 2 classes of them.

Really like the transparent bases. Draws more attention to the model. Bravo.

Very nice work. I especially like the rusting, hard to do well in 1/2400.

K303- agree about the bases, I think ships are the only thing transparent bases work with..

Excellent work on all of those German ships, Foxbat!

The occasions in which I have joined in naval miniatures games, I have found that my enjoyment was enhanced greatly by having good looking miniatures to push. There really isn't much "terrain" … perhaps an occasional island in some scenarios, but more often only open blue sea. So the miniatures are what you have to visually drive your imagination.

Your ships would certainly push my imagination! I expect that everyone who comes to a table will feel lucky to play in a game with such good looking ships.

Great work. Thanks for sharing.
