There is a current poll looking at those wargaming companies you can't do without. But what aboit non-wargaming companies that you consider essential for your wargaming experience?

For my part I'd suggest:

Elegoo – manufacturers pf the resins I use for 3D printing
Facebook – keeping me connected with the wargames community
Amazon – rapidly delivering all sots of essential bits and pieces

I can't think of any business entity that I can't live without be it wargaming related or otherwise. Granted life is probably easier with some of the ones mentioned, but people existed prior to all of them and will continue to do so.

I share Fitzovich's view on this issue.

That being said:

Yuengling: I do miss Yuengling. I've been on the West Coast for 30+ years, so I've learned to do without.

Google: I use Gmail as my all-around email. I could use one of its many competitors, but I've gotten used to it. Google Groups and Google Drive are pretty useful for communications in a regular gaming group and for sharing materials. Blogger has my blog (which I suppose I should update some day).

Sainsbury's (they are local).

Other supermarkets and purveyors of fine comestibles are available. ;-)

Spoetzl Brewing Company (Shiner Bock!) Papa Murphy's Pizza.

And yes, paint companies and stores selling craft paint. Not enough paints figuring into these polls. And craft stores or other places where you can buy storage tubs.

Monkey Wards still exists???

I didn't think so but after I posted it, I found that there is an online company using the name. No relation to the original Wards. Sears, Radio Shack, and K-Mart are all dead.
