I know this is a battalion level game, but can you make this a level up to brigade/regiment level?

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean. In O Group an infantry stand is a squad of about 10 men. So if you went "up" do you just mean a lot more stands? Or make a stand a platoon? I don't see why not, you'd just need to adjust your TO&E.

Fistful of TOWs 3 is one stand = one platoon. You could use the patrol deployment method of O Group with the FFT3 rules.

Panzer Korps is 1 stand = 1 company, but you maneuver in battalions.

Thanks Crispy.

I might go with O' Group because I think the learning curve would be a lot easier since I think it shares some of the Lardy rule mechanisms (I think it does at least from a quick glance).

You'd definitely want to play with 1 player has no more than one battalion plus supports. I'll see if there are any actual suggestions for multi-battalion games.
Just checked. There are rules for multi-battalion battlegroups. Each battalion manages its own orders and Fubars, the battlegroup commander gets his own stock of HQ orders. My only issue is that historically you'd expect at least one battalion in reserve, to move through when the lead troops meet their objectives. I guess players could cycle through battalions as their original troops get exhausted /meet objectives?

Or you could just call each squad a platoon and each platoon a company. O Group is pretty abstract.

What Martin says above – if you look at FFoT (which is 1 level up) for the Orbats you are pretty much there.

You do need to add Orders as your forces get to 1 1/2+ battalions though
