You were asked – TMP link

We all realize (don't we?) that we shall not live forever, and someone else will some day touch our miniatures. But how prepared are we?

I've stopped buying and sold over half. I have/had a huge amount. Painted for years.

I've cut back and have a no new period policy if the game takes more than 100 figs. I have also begun the disposal process by thinning the heard. I'm only adding new things that "make" a difference in my games. Stopping the shiny new habit was a laborious 12 step process. However, my support group has been fantastic.

I'm being buried with my miniatures along side my weapons, armour, life stock, servants and wives already to be dug up by some archeologist in 2000 years time 😁

Prince Rupert -

Have you devised an appropriate curse for the incautious fool that dares disturb your slumber? It's sort of your last chance for artistic expression, so make it a good one!

"May he that disturbs my forces never again make a successful saving throw. May his regulars rout on every moral test, his elites fail to activate, and his off-board fire support land on his own units. May his lead rot, his soft plastic turn brittle and his hard plastic be stepped on. May cats enter his game room and play with his troops. May his clear matte yellow with age, and his medium browns change to florescent orange. Grant, Featherstone, Young and Morschauser hear my words!"

Just a suggestion, Rupert, but it might give you a starting point.

Mserafin@ I think the pit trap with a floor of my 20mm successor pikemen with steel pin pikes should be a good start god knows they've drawn actual blood a few times.

Robert@ Nice I'll need it in ancient Barkernese the language of Wargames Research 6th edition
ancients rules don't want to make it to easy on any suspected tomb raiders.

Wackermole@ ha all my miniatures will be well.protected under several thick coats of poorly applied paint and several rattle cans of Army Painter anti Shine varnish.

Uh, Rupert? You put warnings, threats and curses in as many languages as possible because you want people to get the message and stay away.

I have the disposal plan so they dont end up in the dumpster.

"moral" instead of "morale?" Stop me before I misspell again!
