Some 40 years ago, I believe there was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK a docudrama presenting the UK's history in the C20th as if the UK were a small country in Eastern Europe. I never saw it myself but a friend of mine did and was quite taken with it. Or I could have imagined the whole thing. Can anyone throw light on this potentially intriguing alternative history? |

Not sure if that's the one I remember, but there was one set after a ‘Crimean War' or something like that. |
