Thought I post this here too, so the poor guy doesn't lose any business. Tales of Navwar's imminent demise seem to be a bit presumptuous. Several naval gamers headed to the shop this Saturday to her from Tony that (a) he's not closing down and (b) he doesn't know why people think that. The shop is still opening Saturday afternoons, nd he is still working through (a great deal) of existing stock – no new castings. So he's still good for wlk up and postal orders. The other good news is that he is looking to sell the business, so hopefully someone will pick it up soon so that he can get on with his well-earnt retirement. |

Good to hear. Always had very good service from Tony and his antiquated methods. I still have pre-dreadnought fleet packs for the Russians, Japanese and Chinese unopened in the packaging. I ordered them a few years back but haven't got around to that project. One day… |

Reading that, the "working through existing stock" to me means the end is still near. No new stock is unfortunate… |

Latest news on FB from someone who visited the shop this weekend is that casting is to resume soon. Excellent news. |
