Has anyone modeled The White Company? What did you do, organization and painting wise? | | jwebster | 20 Feb 2024 1:57 p.m. PST

I'm in the planning process…There is an image of Hawkwood from his tomb. No idea how that relates to reality
Otherwise just like any other army from Europe in the same period. The "white" comes from them having a "lot" of knights in full armour Also depends on scale and size of your army and rules to some extent John | | Swampster | 26 Feb 2024 5:33 p.m. PST

Likely wearing jupons etc. over the armour. This could well be single colour rather than heraldic.Armour was transitioning over his career – artwork shows combo of mail and some plate pieces at the start with much more complete plate by the end. This may have been even more noticeable within the Company as poorer members became richer and could afford better armour – or acquired it as plunder.
