Hello everyone ,
I have 25 mm MiniFigs from the old CM range?

Does anyone know it?

Does anyone have a list of their references and designations?

Thanks.

Call of Cthulu? OMFG…groan, I hate that game. 1920s pulp/detective is about the most boring genre I can think of.

Perhaps Caliver Books can help. They carry the old Minifig line.

Grenadier, not Minifigs, made the 25mm CoC miniatures. So the OP must be talking about something else.

The CoC minis have been upsized and reissued in 28mm.

I believe that Deucey was actually suggesting going to the home page of the Lost Minis Wiki and following the Minifigs link there. I'm not sure what the "CM range" might mean, but perhaps it's a start…

hi EEE ya Supporting Member of TMP21 Feb 2024 3:16 a.m. PST

@Deucey
I don't know if your idea is that I go to the lost minis to look for minifigs, but I don't regret having done it because I saw the "NS" range that I own and other stuff there.nice ones that I also have but not the "CM" range.

@MilEFEX3030
Call of Cthulhu (Grenadier)? I'm talking to you about a very old MiniFigs range!

@Col Durnford
Thanks but it's too old a range to be sold by CaliverBooks. Just like the NS range it's not even in the 1972-1973 catalog!

@fantasque
Sorry this isn't a topic on Call of Cthulhu Grenadier figures.

@Eumelus
I don't know if Deucey was actually suggesting going to the Lost Minis wiki homepage and following the Minifigs link there,but you gave me the idea of going there looking for missing minifigs.

Which I saw the "NS" line there and other cool things that I own but not the "CM" range.

The "CM range" means Carolingians/Moors, in fact from this range I only have Carolingian and Moorish cavalrymen…

From the Minifigs advert in "Wargamer's Digest", February 1977:

CM2 Carolingian Medium Infantry Spearman
CM3 Carolingian Archer
CM4 Carolingian Officer
CM5 Carolingian Musician
CM6 Carolingian Standard Bearer
CM7 Arab Spearman Attacking
CM8 Arab Archer
CM9 Arab Swordsman
CM10 Arab Officer
CM11 Arab Standard Bearer
CM12 Arab Spearman

Cavalry
CMC1 Carolingian Medium Cavalry with Lance
CMC2 Carolingian Heavy Cavalry with Lance
CMC3 Carolingian Heavy Cavalry with Lance
CMC4 Carolingian Standard/Officer
CMC5 Moorish Light Cavalry with Spear
CMC6 Arab Medium Cavalry with Lance
CMC7 Arab Heavy Cavalry with Lance
CMC8 Arab Light Horse Archer
CMC9 Arab Light Cavalry with Lance
CMC10 Arab Mounted Officer with Sword

P.S. Don't know if any of these figures are the same sculpts as the ones in the currently available "Dark Ages" line:

Sorry. I thought I sent a link to what you were looking for rather than the home page.

Go to the Grenadier models page, then click ‘Base Codes' where it says product code lists in bold.

Deucey Supporting Member of TMP21 Feb 2024 4:53 p.m. PST

Oops. I just realized I was on Grenadier. So sorry!!!!

hi EEE ya Supporting Member of TMP22 Feb 2024 2:19 a.m. PST

@Deucey
It doesn't matter, it was a good idea and the result is there.

@Eumelus
Thanks for the list which moves things forward drastically.

Where to find the "Wargamer's Digest" to see other Minifigs advertised because this range, just like the "Normans/Saxons" range, is not in my 1973-74 catalog !

These figurines are indeed 25mm minifigs, but just as for the "Normans/Saxons" range, without being "S" series, their style of sculpture is different from those currently on sale by Caliver Books.

Now, although my collection is huge, since as figurines, I only have 25mm MiniFigs, I am looking for infantry references from this range as well as many other references of other old ranges as :

ANCIENT PERIOD 25mm «S»RANGE

JACOBITE RISING 25mm "S" RANGE

FRENCH REVOLUTION AND EGYPTIAN CAMPAIGN 25 mm « S » RANGE

I want also certain references from certain "S" series ranges and the references of the range currently sold by Caliver Books
"Ancient World – Egypt & Assyria" declared "Temporary out of Production" but which in fact according to the actual owner of Caliver Books, are definitely so.

Although I have many of these figurines, I only have an incomplete list of references from the "NORMAN&SAXONS" DARK AGE 25 mm RANGE range, the cavalry references are notably missing.

Below is what I have as «NORMAN&SAXONS»dark age 25 mm range list and I don't even know if the designations are correct?

NS 1 Norman armoured spearman
NS 2 Norman archer, armoured
NS 3 Late saxon spearman, unarmoured, kite shield
NS 4 Flemish (?) archer, unarmoured, strange headress !
NS 5 French crossbowman
NS 6 Norman, armoured, attacking with sword
NS 7 Norman, armoured, with club
NS 8 Saxon chieftain,
NS 9 Saxon spearman, unarmoured, round shield
NS 10 Saxon archer, unarmoured, cloak
NS 11 Saxon slinger
NS 12 Saxon peasant infantryman
NS 13 Saxon advancing with axe
NS 14 Late Saxon Huscarle swinging axe, round shield
NS 15 Norman or Late Saxon Huscarle with axe, kite shield
NS 16 Late saxon huscarle standard bearer
NS 17 Viking chieftain
NS 18 Viking huscarle
NS 19 Viking spearman
NS 20 Viking archer
NS 21 Viking berserk
NS 22 Viking ulfhednar
NS 23 Viking heavy spearman
NS 24 Norman, armoured, kite shield, with vertical spear
NS 25 Saxon, unarmoured, round shield, with vertical spear
NSX 1 King Harold

I'll take a look at my old "Wargamer's Digest" issues this weekend, and if I find any other Minifigs range listings I'll let you know. If you want pdf of these old ads I can scan them and DM to you.

hi EEE ya Supporting Member of TMP23 Feb 2024 12:37 a.m. PST

@Eumelus
OK thanks.

Here is the listing from the Minifigs advertisement in "Wargamer's Digest", November 1976, for the "NS" line. The ad unfortunately had no photos. It mostly agrees with your list but there are a few differences:

@Eumelus
Thanks for your search

Yes there are differences in the designation of the figurines.

As for the horses, they are the same designation as those currently sold by Caliver Books, but perhaps they are not the same figurines?
