"We have launched a campaign on Guadalcanal, and the first battle is behind us, i.e. the capture of Tulagi. Okopane 3 Kure SNLF, survived the attack of 1 Raiders. The sailors and Korean workers coped with the task, i.e. they survived. The long-range radio station was almost destroyed, but fortunately the charges did not fire. The fuel depot remains unthreatened, work on the seaplane marina will, I trust, be resumed and will be continued…"
