Yes! Of interest. This whole region is something of a forgotten theater. The 15th Air Force never gets much credit compared to the 8th, IMO. But it was a complex region with plenty of special mission stories and interactions with partisans, Germans, and Soviets, for crews who were shot down and survived. |
