I've been battling accessing TMP on my trusty PC for several weeks now.
It's the https issue – my security just won't allow me to open the site.

I can and am using my iPad but it's not set up for posting photos and it's a device I use. Maybe once a week as opposed to several times daily on my pc

There'll probably be a flood of work around on this thread but I think I will largely become an occasional lurker. Sadly.

That's sad. What security are you using?

What browser are you using? That has the most effect on how you connect to a website. The browser makers are trying to protect you by keeping you from potentially dangerous sites.

That said, there are versions of Chrome and Firefox that are not bleeding edge. Firefox ESR (Extended support release) is one. Those are the versions that businesses use to keep their operations working.

Chrome is my primary browser, with FF as the alternative. Both with load TMP with no issues.

Also what operating system are you using? The word trusty usually indicates old and out of date.

It could also be that TMP is not a secure site. Your security suite just may be looking after you. Try making TMP a trusted site with your security program.

My browser calls TMP "Not Secure"
though it doesn't seem to cause me problems

My browser calls TMP "Not Secure"

We have all the security we need. It is just complaining because we're not https – but we don't handle financial transactions here, so it's not needed.

My cheap ($150) Chromebook has no problem with TMP. That's a very easy workaround.

TMP is rated insecure by modern Internet client software because it doesn't host a PKI certificate to support HTTPS. Editor in Chief Bill explains his reasoning above.

Your browser or your PC's security software are probably set to block insecure sites. There should be an unblock feature, possibly called white list or allow list or exception list, where you can add arbitrary sites like theminiaturespage.com .

Oprah on Win-dohs 7 here. No ax-es problems to TMP.

"Your browser or your PC's security software are probably set to block insecure sites."

It blocks sites that sit around all day saying, "I'm just not good enough?"

Couldn't resist, sorry.
