I'm curious as to where you find these Hot Wheels. Are you simply perusing store racks and discovering these gems in the mix, or are you specifically ordering them online somewhere? So far I haven't been able to find an online source for specific models aside from eBay scalpers who want five to ten times retail price before shipping.

Right now I'm looking for the Screen Time series, with the Abrams Trek Enterprise, Back to the Future Time Machine (in standard and "Hover Mode") and the James Bond 1963 Aston Martin. Not having much luck…

I visit Wal-Mart about once or twice a month, take my time and go through the cars. I get some at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and once in a while at Mejier and Kroger supermarkets. We live rural and only shop about twice a month.

The others I get when I want a specific car, particularly one that has been out of production for years I get on eBay and pay generally $5 USD to $10 USD for the car and about $5 USD for shipping, but I don't buy many of those, average of one every month or two.

And finally some of the eBay sellers have online stores where you can get them a little cheaper, but I don't buy many that way either.

When I lived in greater Los Angeles my best technique was to look for a Wal-Mart in a neighborhood were the neighborhood demographic was not a bunch of nerds who wanted specific Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars, and shop there for cars.

Happy Hunting!
