The last surviving member of an iconic TV show, that inspired many a Home Guard wargame scenario, Pvt Frank Pike aka Ian Lavender died yesterday. Immortalised in metal in several figure sets. RIP Pikey, thanks for all the laughs. |

I agree Fred. He was quite old too for a "boy". Dads army was a gentle comedy that future generations might not enjoy as much as ours?? martin |
