I have a perfectly decent Viking army with plenty of figures from Foundry, Old Glory, Gripping Beast, and BTD, but every year or so, I am stricken by a desire to add a few more figures to the collection. So, I was searching through the old messages in TMP to see if there was somebody else I should look at. The problem I ran into was that several of the companies folks recommended years ago had gone away.

So, who is out there making 28 mm Vikings besides the four I mentioned?

Warlord has plastic and metal.

IMHO Foundry are the best.

Artizan, Crusader and Footsore make Vikings as well in 28 mm

Footsore will be releasing a huge round of Vikings soon that will be in addition to their current offerings. I believe some 70 plus different figures.

Old Glory has very nice packs in 28mm.

Footsore for me. Wonderful figures, outstanding detail. And
as Oregon01 said "new additions on the way".

Gripping beast is producing Colin Patten's beautiful Viking sculpts, highly recommended!

@stossstruppen +1

These were originally Saxon miniatures. Fantastic characters. Highly recommend
The Victrix Vikings are excellent if you want a lot of them
Black tree design are full of character and reasonably priced

Another vote for Victrix. I already have all of the Gripping Beast Vikings.

So that's everybody then? Or almost.

In addition to those already mentioned:
Wargames Atlantic Dark Age Irish plastics are useful

These guys have some Scots-Irish from that era if you want to go for a Kingdom of the Isles type Viking army
