I first got to know this company through their releases of Free French transfers (decals) in 1/72 and especially for AFVs of 2eme DB. Initially they were "fragile"and could disintegrate if rubbed during application (much bad language used) and used that unfamiliar idea of face down when used. It had its advantages, esp as the decal went straight where it was needed, rather than slid off the backing paper. But I was not convinced, though I still have countless sheets stored away. Now they are traditional, face up and slide off, and much more robust. They now are producing a series of resin kits for various Shermans, not easily found, and well worth a look. I also found a plastic kit of a Mirage M8 HMC which is almost impossible to get in the UK and realise I should have ordered the trailer from them. You cannot beat the Heller M4 and M4A2 models (unless you can find and pay far more for the Dragon versions) link |
