With the unmatched help of my buddies Brian and Herb we hosted this very long project, probably 20 years in the making, at Popicon which was held in South Bend Indiana. The details are over in this forum.

We having submitted the game for the Little Wars convention I am hoping I am recovered by then to run the game. It took a lot out of me to run this epic game.
Thanks for having a look.

Wowsa! Excellent stuff. Can I ask who are the figures by?

PaulRPetri05 Feb 2024 3:01 p.m. PST

Kropotkin303 the foot figures are from the LOTR Combat hex click game that came out when the movies did. They are all prepainted figures. We chopped them all of their click bases and mounted them on metal bases. The siege towers pushed by the trolls are Armies of middle earth which also came out when the movies did also prepainted stuff. We bought all of this stuff 20 years ago.

The walls are mostly GW Mighty Fortress which I added a 4" base of foam to make them tall enough.

Thanks everyone for the very kind comments.

That is scary good. Obviously a labor of love, and it certainly shows.

Gonna be some fortunate players at Little Wars.

What rules? Homemade or Hordes of the Thing? or …

A piece of war-game art. Comparable to other masterpieces such as the Siege of the Tuileries Palace by Todd Fisher or the many great works of the Duke.

PaulRPetri16 Feb 2024 9:00 a.m. PST

Hello Bob thanks very much for the kind comments. The rules started out as Medieval Tactica siege rules which quickly fell apart and we went with home brewed as the only way to make the game work. Very simple stuff.
