I hacee been using those figures for civilian crowds and the like, but did not think about Star Trek. Clever! Thanks!

Those are useful figures. The HO ones of the same ilk are good for 15mm and the O are a little tall for 28mm, but not too bad. I also have a bunch of the N scale generic civvies … 6mm or so.

Thank you Umpapa. I have been using them for years and it only occurred to me recently. Star Trek characters seldom carry any gear and their uniform is a pullover shirt and pants mostly. Pretty easy.

Yes etotheipi, I have a few of the HO ones and they are very nice too.

For most Star Trek equipment at that scale, you just need to dab some black on the figure's palm. Imagination will fill in the details… ;-)
