Please, what rules?

mildbill02 Feb 2024 6:48 a.m. PST

A delightful period that covid got me in to when I was locked down and had a few leftover figures from a bring and buy. Of course then I had to buy more figures 'just to fill out the units.'Sadly, I cant seem to get anyone interested in the period here in the midwest of the USA.( not alot of interest in pike and shot guerilla warfare) I too would like to know what rules, I use One Hour Wargames, modified.

Based on the stats in the article, it looks like the rules used are Irregular Wars, a period specific rule set for combat at the colonial fringes of the Renaissance world.

Thanks very much folks, as Brennus suggests the rules are Irregular Wars very much focused on the clash of cultures on the fringes of the western centric world though the Tudor period. Mildbill this covers the early wars with the Native Americans as well as the Russian expansion into Siberia, Portuguese in India etc. I really like the rules.

This was a great looking game in an interesting, yet overlooked, period.
