Legion, I guess I am trying to make the point that there is more than one way to get results. You appreciate the value of human intel, I know. In fact, it's likely the only way to win in the end. Doing the possible and getting broader results on the bad guys is the starting point re public safety. This is about finding and outsmarting the worst threats, getting them out of here. Getting everybody as much as possible on the side of law and order is done in the street, not in some politico's press group or office. Too many people without criminal records getting picked up. Trump told us there were tons of killers and rapists. Let's see em in custody, not these other people first.

The militarization of police departments has been forced by the incredible availability of every kind of weapon to anyone. Gun laws aren't going to stop someone from getting armed. Half a billion guns in the US. As the saying goes "Too late to regulate" So police carry a number of unofficial options and have done so for many years depending on where they serve. And biggest cities have a lot of military gear.

I've also said before, if they arrest one (not guilty of crimes obviously) and they have a job and can fully support themselves and any family and are NOT accepting taxpayer money, then I would make exceptions.

But if they are here and taking taxpayer money, guilty of crimes or not. Again bye bye. Even if they are the nanny(LA mayors line), if they are not being paid enough to live without aid from us, then back home.

35th ..Obama deported more people than Trump. And ICE is said to be off to a slower than Trump wanted start and pressing for numbers. Again, go after the high threat criminals first, forget the the families for now until we are safe.

I heard from a conservative station that Trump is deporting 2,000 a day. By that rate I think he will deport 4 million. During his first term he did 3.5 million. so for all the huffing and puffing not a lot of difference. Biden did 3 million and Obama 5.5 million. So again, not much change.

35th, we can get to where immigration works and fix what doesn't. But first clean up the mess left by bad leadership. Then some political courage,if that even exists, to rebuild the system.

Zelensky is a tool, and there was a chance for peace early on. Remember what happened? Zelensky told Trump he was coming to the White House to sign the first step of a peace deal -- but then he met with the Democrats BEFORE meeting with Trump…and then deliberately sabotaged the peace deal with his belligerence. He continued to double deal -- coming back to Trump and saying he was ready, then the Europeans and Democrats would blow smoke up his a$$ and he'd get all belligerent again. Putin, initially seeming open to a deal, also started to backslide as Zelensky backslid -- and the final deal killer was the drone strike on Russian strategic bombers WHILE PEACE TALKS WERE COMMENCING! So nothing left to talk about -- Putin just pulled back and is ramping up and seemingly wants to just beat the shite out of the Ukrainians.

Zelensky doesn't seem to care, he wife parades around with $10,000 USD hand bags and his fam lives the sweet life while thousands of Ukrainians and Russians die. The math of death is still on Russia's side -- they have more bodies to throw into the grinder than Ukraine does.

So, how it ends now, I dunno.

Prioritize, IMO and many others to prevent injury or death to US Citizens …

You must go after the known or even suspected hardened criminals, terrorists, spies, first/#1. But there will be CD, so to speak. Some illegal aliens who are not "bad guys", but are illegal, they may get caught up in the net. And in a very rare case someone who is not illegal may be caught in these sweeps. I.e. Collateral Damage … just like in a war, CD must be mitigated. But sometimes it happens no matter how much you try to prevent or limit it.

So again what is your priority ? It has to be save US lives and prevent injury. Those are the people you are to protect. Not illegal aliens … Illegal aliens especially the known criminals, terrorist, spies, etc. are your priority targets. They are here to do harm, have bad intent, they have no interest in becoming citizens, break the law, etc.

They are also some who entered illegally, have no intent to become US citizens, they're here for the freebees, that want to make money, etc. These too must be considered not the type of people we want here.

You come here legally to become an American citizen. Like so many of our ancestors did. Espiecally in the 19th and early 20th Century.

So how would on accomplish this mission ? IMO ICE, CBP, LEO, etc. are trying. But their biggest threat are activists, some illegal aliens, some leadership in Blue cities and states. They have to be dealt with legally … e.g. they can't aid or abed, provide support, interfere with Federal LEOs, NG, etc. from doing their jobs. The jobs that were assigned to them with laws made in Congress, etc. Constitutional laws and amendments.

Like in an insurgency since the guerilla does not where a uniform. You have to be suspicious of almost everybody. Isn't that what we learned/relearned in Vietnam, A'stan, Iraq, etc. That is a technique to limit your losses as close to 0 as possible. And to inflict max damage to your enemy. I want to bring my troops, our soldiers, our allies' lives back home in and not in body bags.

As I have said many times, I started ROTC in '75, the same year I graduated high school. The soldiers that trained us. were regular Army/Active Duty, many with combat experience in Vietnam, and even a few in Korea, as well. We learned how to fight and survive. From those that not only saw the elephant but killed it. This type of paradigm has to be similar with capturing and deporting illegal aliens.

Yes whether in daily LEO work, catching any type of criminal. No matter what their immigration status is. The LEOs use all forms of intel to catch the bad guys. E.g. LEOs look for CC/security cameras to get as much intel as they can at the crime scene. Nothing new there … And many LEOs are former military as well as LEOs are generally pretty street smart as they gain experience, etc. Just like a soldier, etc.

I already posted my opinion on this topic. Short answer CD. Mitigate this as much as possible. But it will happen especially with millions of illegal aliens the last admin willfully and illegally let in. And I really think the number of people who are "innocent" and get picked up are pretty small overall … But if they are illegal … they are criminals. That is pretty black & white.

The real bad guys are generally going to be harder to catch … they are hardened criminals. They know they will be targeted.

Does US Gov't support it citizens over illegal aliens ? That should not even be a question. And the Left, progessives, etc. tries to make it about race … pretty much like they do for everything.
