This goes too far. Noem says she wants to go in and liberate LA from socialism. I don't like the sound of that..period. Her job is to find and deport dangerous immigrants…and that's all. A crash course in the Constitution, based on her appearance in Congress, would help her. LA maybe be giving everyone a hard time on deportation. . If another agency interferes with you, you report and get orders. Where is the MAGA power chart? That would be one big table of org. What about militias, the ones we know about? Fox News, most powerful media outlet in the country? Alderson, Koch, Musk, on and on. It's not a one sided thing. |

Subject: CNN, MSNBC Called Anti-ICE Riots 'Mostly Peaceful' Over 200 Times This Week | OutKick link "Viewers of CNN and MSNBC are likely unaware of the ongoing anti-ICE riots in cities like Los Angeles. According to a new study from the Media Research Center, the two cable news networks have overwhelmingly referred to the riots as – wait for it – "mostly peaceful." The study found at least 211 instances of CNN and MSNBC personalities insisting the chaos was "mostly peaceful" or something similar, like "largely peaceful." Interestingly, CNN was responsible for 123 claims that the riots were "peaceful," while MSNBC reminded viewers just 88 times." "The networks also failed to show viewers some of the most viral scenes from the streets, like the rioters burning police cars and waving foreign flags." 😱 "The networks also failed to show viewers some of the most viral scenes from the streets, like the rioters burning police cars and waving foreign flags." 😱 ""No reporter acknowledged any link between the peaceful and violent elements of the crowds. The rioters were exclusively framed as ‘rogue actors,' or ‘lone wolves,' and there was never any assertion that they might share common cause with the more peaceful individuals," D'Agostino said." |

Noem says she wants to go in and liberate LA from socialism. I don't like the sound of that..period. Her job is to find and deport dangerous immigrants…and that's all. Nope -- she's the Director Homeland Security and is in charge of ALL INTERNAL NATIONAL SECURITY. Illegals, terrorists, foreign agents and spies, organized crime, the whole deal. And that can include domestic terror groups, which I HOPE Antifa will be designated. Where is the MAGA power chart? That would be one big table of org. Dude, you can use ChatGPT to do that yourself – and you probably should. The organized Right is pathetically small. And that makes sense since the Left has about 150 years of experience organizing revolutionary cells, front groups, cut outs and influence campaigns to recruit wealthy morons to their cause. Like Marx conned rich-kid Engels into being his sugar daddy, the Walmart Heiress is a Sugar Momma for the kinds of Leftist groups that Grandpa Sam would have loathed. From a ChatGPT query – I'll include the prompt so you can do your own. Query: some claim there is an equally organized "Far Right" in the US -judge this claim against the network of Leftist groups you have identified, describe these groups and their funding, and how it compares in funding, scope, size and reach to the organized Left ChatGPT said: The claim that there exists an equally organized "Far Right" network in the U.S. comparable to the well-funded and deeply institutionalized Leftist advocacy ecosystem requires critical evaluation on multiple dimensions: funding, structure, scale, and public influence.
The "Far Right" Network – What Actually Exists? 🧱 Organizational Components (Fragmented) 1. Legacy Think Tanks / Policy Orgs Heritage Foundation Claremont Institute American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Hillsdale College (education-based, not protest-based) These are not "far right" per se—more traditional conservative, policy-oriented. 2. Nationalist / Populist Voices Turning Point USA (youth-focused, not extremist) America First PAC (aligned with Trump populism) Steve Bannon's War Room (media hub) Project Veritas (investigative sting ops) 3. Fringe & Controversial Actors Proud Boys (disbanded, criminal convictions) Groypers / America First Foundation (Nicholas Fuentes) QAnon-linked influencers (decentralized conspiracy-adjacent) Telegram/4Chan-based cells (no funding, no structure) 💰 Funding Scale: Minimal Institutional Support No major foundations openly support the far right. Wealthy individual donors (e.g., Mercer family, MyPillow's Mike Lindell, possibly Peter Thiel) have backed select populist causes, not a wide network. Corporate America generally avoids openly right-wing causes, fearing reputational harm. 🧮 Comparative Financial Reach Type Leftist Networks Rightist Networks Annual funding $1 USDB+ <$100M (fragmented and opaque) Foundation support Type Leftist Networks Rightist Networks Dozens of multi-million dollar donors Almost none (legacy PACs, a few patrons) Government access Type Leftist Networks Rightist Networks High (via progressive policy channels) Very low to none 🧠 Summary Judgment The "organized Left" in the U.S. dramatically outweighs any coherent Far Right network in terms of funding, structure, institutional influence, and mass mobilization capability. 🟢 Conclusion: The Left is vertically integrated—from billionaire donors to local protests. The Right is mostly atomized, with few unified funding streams, scattered media presence, and minimal policy or street protest infrastructure.

Frankly, I'm amazed there's anything left of the "Right" at all! The Left is an organized GLOBAL TITAN! It is a monstrous Goliath of TRILLIONS OF $$$$ in funding, deep reach, influence and power. In contrast, the "Right" (most of which are Constitutionalists) is fragmented, poorly funded in comparison. The Left IS THE EMPIRE. The "Right" IS THE REBEL ALLIANCE. Which side are you on?? |
Tortorella | 14 Jun 2025 4:25 a.m. PST |
I guess I am just an Ewok trying to get along. This is the way…. First of all, I find both sides repulsive in their self interest and lack of integrity and tactical gamesmanship. I don't see this the same way. Musk is not wrong in saying he brought about the election result. You have left out huge donors, donor advised funds, the Christian right – both national and international. Where are the Aldersons? Marion continues her late husband's work, they have donated hundreds of billions to the right. Just one of a large number. These donors seek more tax breaks and less regulations to hinder their accumulation of wealth, a key component of right and left wing ideology, IMO. And conservative radio has a huge reach – liberal talk radio is almost non existent by comparison other than NPR. The roster of hosts and followers has considerable influence. Fox is a de facto state media outlet by content, and also serves the Prez as a trusted policy influencer and a source of staff and appointees. Conservatives and moderates significantly outnumber liberals in the US and have for many years. Moderates are continuing to grow, new independents are leaving the parties. I don't know how the ChatGPT thing works, but I will take a look. |

Tort the church's swing both ways and donate both ways. Take just the Methodists church, which is now divided between traditional and liberal theology. If Fox is the de facto state media of the Republicans, what does that make the MSM? 😂 Fox favors the Republicans, because their platform is conservative (at least till their owner dies). One would be hard pressed to find a conservative cleaning toilets in the Democratic Party, yet alone as a party representative. 😉 He##! Finding a moderate is almost impossible in that party. 😂 Talk radio 🤔 Do you listen to talk radio? You say you are a moderate, so if you don't, you know the left doesn't. I do listen some.. when working out or sometimes driving. But their influence is limited. The left has tried talk, but not even their people listen to them and they fold…. Quickly. 😉 |

"Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna announced Friday that nearly a dozen deputies were injured during the ongoing riots. Luna said 10 deputies were injured after protesters hurled rocks, Molotov cocktails and "high-grade pyrotechnics" at them. "We have been encountering some interesting weapons out there," Luna said. "[There is a] big difference between the peaceful protesters and the individuals who are coming out with weapons to attack our folks."" |

I don't like the sound of that..period Well we all are allowed to have an opinion. But I don't like 1500+ anti-US, anti-Gov't, anti-US, anti-Western culture riots. Paid for by wealthy leftists, woke progressive, communists, socialists, globalist, supported by many in Congress. The millions of illegal aliens coming or being brought into the US. By the last POTUS(?), his admin, some members in Congress, supported by wealthy liberals, etc. and many in the media was illegal … unconstitutional. Of course we do have freedom of the Speech and the Press which mean anyone can say any stupid, illogical, illegal, fool thing they want. And they do and do often. On both ends of the spectrum … But it seems the Left do much more damage than anyone else. We also have the right of peaceful protest and assembly … But regardless, what some in the media, Congress, etc. say. These are riots supported by many wealthy, left-wing, etc., etc. groups as has been mentioned. Plus outside support from our enemies. Anyone who does not see this must be blind, in denial, it does not fit their agenda and narrative. They must support these riots … Noem and her dept., etc. are tasked with getting as many illegal aliens as possible out of the USA. That the last POTUS, his Admin, some members of Congress, etc. sanctioned and allowed into the US illegally. Knowing full well what they were doing was illegal and Unconstitutional. But did it anyway for 4 long years. Causing thousands of US deaths from drugs, rape/murder, etc., etc. Now the current POTUS and his admin have to clean this horrendous mess that was purposely made to fit a corrupt anti-US plan, narrative, agenda, etc. They have blood on their hands … buckets of it … and they must have known their policies were directly responsible for all those dead Americans. 10s of 1000s Americans …. more Americans than killed by islamic terrorists … How could anyone with any kind of logic, reason, etc. accept or support this ? |
Tortorella | 14 Jun 2025 11:58 a.m. PST |
I am not sure there is any way to quantify what crimes the illegals have committed. Some were apprehended, millions are under the radar. In my experience they were not as likely to commit violent crimes or crimes against property as this drew too much attention. They worked the low level jobs and avoided eye contact. Most sources continue to show them with lower US crime rates than American citizens. Americans carry in most of the fentanyl because they are good at it, want the money, and no cartel is going to entrust a family of refugees with millions of dollars worth of drugs out in the desert or in an overloaded truck. Drugs are an American business, the demand comes from Americans. Drugs and the deaths they cause are still a choice some here make. This does not mean they commit no crimes, but they do commit fewer crimes in general. Their homicide rate is pretty low, but they do get plenty of attention when the commit serious crimes. That said, nobody even know where most of these people are thanks to the previous administration, or what they are doing for sure. It looks like the WH has realized they will lose the farm vote unless they figure out an immigration plan pretty soon. |
35thOVI | 14 Jun 2025 12:40 p.m. PST |
Tort it does not matter if "illegals"commit fewer or more crimes. The point is, ALL their crimes were unnecessary. Crimes that could have and should have been prevented by the administration in charge. The "actual" US citizens who were victims of those crimes, WERE DENIED their fundamental rights as U.S. citizens. ""Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" are fundamental unalienable rights declared in the United States Declaration of Independence. These rights are considered inherent to all individuals and are not granted by any government. They form a cornerstone of American political thought and are intended to be protected by the government. " "Life: Refers to the fundamental right to exist and be free from arbitrary deprivation of life. Just Five citizens who were deprived of that right by illegal aliens and the administration not fulfilling their obligations to them. Not to exclude their families. Rachel Morin: A mother of five who was raped and murdered in Bel Air, Maryland, in August 2023. The perpetrator was an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, who had previously attacked others. Lizbeth Medina: A 16-year-old in Edna, Texas, who was stabbed to death in December 2023. Her killer was an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Laken Riley: A 22-year-old nursing student murdered in Athens, Georgia, in February 2024 while out for a run. The suspect was an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. Ruby Garcia: A 25-year-old woman in Grand Rapids, Michigan, shot and killed in March 2024 by an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Jocelyn Nungaray: A 12-year-old girl in Houston, Texas, who was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and strangled to death in June 2024 by two illegal immigrants from Venezuela. I do not care about the rights of "illegals", when those rights jeopardize the lives and well being of actual "legal" citizens. I will not shed a tear 😢 for one. Increase legal entry. Grant temporary work visas and enforce them. But "illegal" is "illegal". |

SBm +1 OVI +1 I am not sure there is any way to quantify what crimes the illegals have committed. IF you enter anywhere illegally you broke the law. The Biden admin ignored the immigration laws and the Constitution. They broke the law as well. The open border has let nobody knows how many drug runners, cartel/gang members, hardened criminals and terrorists into the USA. There are many expired visas, etc. Many are being caught by ICE, etc. They don't have the same rights as US citizens. No matter what some members of Congress, progressive, etc. groups are trying to say. Had the border been closed those that came here who brought in drugs, guns, human trafficking, hardened criminals, spies or terrorists came in with ill intent, had no intention of becoming US citizens. They came for they came for the freebees and to take advantage of the US openness, etc. Most are not like I described above. But the bad guys used them as cover, a diversion, etc. Just like in an insurgency the bad guys used these people as cover. Even most coming here do not qualify for any sort of asylum. Because they can't get work where they come from does not qualify for asylum. Illegal aliens DO NOT have the same legal due process as US citizens. I can pretty much safely say those Americans that were killed/murdered raped would still be alive today. The option is to let those who are not violent in along with the criminals. Since we can't read minds, we have no idea who many of these people are bad guys or girls … So we turn them all back to protect US citizens. Like many countries in Western Europe do. Including families or just mother & child. They may not be criminals, terrorists, spies, etc. However, a very good technique to get spies, terrorists, etc. into the nation is to come in as a family. As they will be less suspect than, e.g. military age males. Which huge numbers from all over have come in or even flown into the US at the Fed Gov'ts wishes. If someone wants to become a US citizen you, you do it legally. Like so many of our kin had done in the past. We continue to be in the GWoT … The US has already caught many known terrorists trying to get into the US. But what about the Got-Aways ? It would be a safe bet they have sleeper cells here. E.g. Iran has sent agents to kill our leaders. And are still a threat … And the US & the world can thank the IDF for eliminating many Hamas, Hezbollah, IRGC, etc. But again how many American have to die in a number of ways because of these harden criminals and possibly terrorists were let in. By the last Admin and members of Congress. Who tried to cover up their insidious plans for turning the US Blue. Calling it compassion … Our enemies are using that against us. The US leadership that made these plans, decisions, etc. have guards. Most other Americans don't e.g. all the US women raped and killed by illegal aliens that we allowed in by the last POTUS, Admin, some members of Congress, etc. How many dead Americans are acceptable losses to satisfy the plans of some of our leaders and their woke progressive, etc. supporters. How many ? The US Gov't's #1 priority is to protect its population … The Biden Admin and many members have failed miserably … And they will all get away with it. Again how many US citizens are dead because of that skewed narrative and agenda. I know how you stop this … and the new POTUS did … You shut the border down tight. Even using US Army & USMC assets. It works … now the next priority is to find all the illegal aliens that are criminals. And deport them. Or lock them up. If other illegal aliens are caught too … that is collateral. |
Tortorella | 14 Jun 2025 4:15 p.m. PST |
We still don't know anything much about millions of these people who came in, or crimes they committed. They are all guilty of misdemeanors, at least. Illegal entry. But since they came in and scattered, we don't even know where they all are. Serious crimes are getting a lot of publicity, and the long time blanket statements keep flying. There is no doubt that out of 12 to 15 million illegals, some have committed serious crimes. And there is no excuse for that and the way this was so badly handled in the last admin. We have to find the guys who committed serious crimes and deal with them as a matter of justice as well as public safety. We cannot harbor these people…every city needs to cooperate and assist apprehension of serious criminals. Leave the misdemeanors alone for now while Congress works out immigration policy. But there is no trust on either side. A reality check seems to indicate that we are not going to find every one who fled danger and wanted to peacefully live and work here and ship them home. The current rate of detention and deportation is minuscule as a percentage.Noem has no credentials for running this. This is a demonstration, not a working policy at this point. Now what? It sounds like they are leaning toward a way to retain laborers. |
Legion 4 | 14 Jun 2025 6:23 p.m. PST |
They are all guilty of misdemeanors, at least. Illegal entry. Yep … but they can't all have due process … They knew what they were doing. They were invited in by the last POTUS, the Dems, etc. Which was illegal. They are not US citizens, they don't have the rights of USA citizens. So they have been asked to leave and do it legally. Like so many others have. They are not special. And again, large numbers were criminals. To get things back to the nation back to homeostasis … As many as possible have to be sent back. Or leave and come back legally. 10-15-20 million whatever the number. The USA can't take the problems, turmoil, upset they cause. Too bad life is not perfect … But a Republic must have its borders secured and controlled. The Gov'ts job is to protect its citizens. The open border was taken advantage of by illegal aliens, some who were hardened criminals, terrorists or spies. What happens if an Iranian, AQ, or ISIS, etc. sleeper cell(s) get activated? How many US citizens have to die? Because the last POTUS, his admin, some members of Congress, wealthy woke progressives, etc. Wanted to illegally insidiously turn the USA into the USSA. Again how many more Americans have to die because of these people who call themselves "patriots" who want to change America into their version of what they think the USA should be. They want to "fundamentally change America". They are actually the minority … |
Grattan54 | 14 Jun 2025 7:18 p.m. PST |
I saw stats that 90% of illegal are here peacefully and never broken the law. Which is good and they should not be portrayed as being evil drug dealer, rapist, murderers. However, given that there are 20 million illegals in the US that means 2 million ARE drug dealing, rapist, murders. So, this still is big problem for the US. |

We still don't know anything much about millions of these people who came in, or crimes they committed. Of course we do! The State prison systems and the Federal prison system keeps track of the illegal alien criminal population they control. 🔹 1. Crime Commission Rate Based on Demographics Assumptions: 2% of general population commits crimes. In California-style high-crime zones or demographics, this doubles to 4%. → 15,000,000 x 0.04 = 600,000 active criminals Breakdown: 70% = 420,000 occasional offenders (mostly caught once, but often repeat prior) 30% = 180,000 career criminals (habitual, commit hundreds of crimes) 🔹 2. Theft Multiplier Calculation You note that theft offenders typically steal 48 times before being caught, and only 50% go to trial. Thus: 420,000 x 70% = 294,000 theft-prone occasional criminals 294,000 thefts x 48 thefts before capture = 14,112,000 thefts/year Only 50% go to trial → 7,056,000 lead to court processing This helps explain the massive burden of repeat low-level property crime. 🔹 3. FBI Crime Rates per 100,000 Adjusted to 15M Pop ➤ Standard National Rates (x150 for 15M pop) Theft: 1402 × 150 = 210,300 thefts Auto Theft: 283 × 150 = 42,450 Burglary: 270 × 150 = 40,500 Aggravated Assault: 268 × 150 = 40,200 Robbery: 66 × 150 = 9,900 Rape: 40 × 150 = 6,000 Murder: 6 × 150 = 900 ➤ With CA-style Multiplier (×2) Theft: 420,600 Auto Theft: 84,900 Burglary: 81,000 Aggravated Assault: 80,400 Robbery: 19,800 Rape: 12,000 Murder: 1,800 🔹 4. Illegal Immigrant Crime Profile Assuming illegals are: 6% of the population = 900,000 people Commit crimes at double their pop share = 4% crime rate → 36,000 criminals But: Account for 13% of prison population ⇒ disproportionately higher convictions/incarcerations. 🔹 5. Estimated Cost Extrapolations From California's $30 USDB cost for ~3.9M illegals: Per capita cost ≈ $7,692 USD So for 900,000 illegals in this 15M-population model: $7,692 USD × 900,000 = $6.92 USD billion/year Breakdown based on CA ratios: Education: 48% ⇒ ~$3.3B Healthcare: 15% ⇒ ~$1.04B Prisons: 10% ⇒ ~$690M Social Services: 27% ⇒ ~$1.86B Alternative FAIR estimate: $8,776 USD per illegal or U.S.-born child ⇒ $7.89 USD billion/year for 900,000 individuals 🔹 Summary Table Metric Value @ 15M Pop Active criminals (4%) 600,000 Occasional (70%) 420,000 Career (30%) 180,000 Thefts/year (occasional ×48) 14,112,000 Est. trials (50% go to court) 7,056,000 CA-style adjusted murders 1,800 CA-style adjusted aggravated assault 80,400 CA-style adjusted auto theft 84,900 CA-style adjusted robbery 19,800 CA-style adjusted rape 12,000 Illegal pop est. (6%) 900,000 Illegal criminals (4%) est. 36,000 Illegal cost (CA model) $6.92 USDB/year Illegal cost (FAIR model) $7.89 USDB/year I derived from reading crime stats at FBI.gov and various prison population studies. I fed this into ChatGPT to create an infographic for you.

"Multiple police officers were injured in Portland, Oregon Saturday night during a violent riot at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. A mob launched fireworks, smoke grenades and threw rocks at federal law enforcement, as they broke glass and forcibly entered the ICE facility, Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital. Four officers were injured during the attack, though federal law enforcement was able to secure the facility." Subject: Multiple police officers injured in violent Portland riot at ICE facility

Well SB, I am impressed, especially with the data adjusted for CA trends and numbers. I have dealt with crime stats for years, although not recently, and can only marvel at such tools, considering the way they once were done and the occasional unreliability of some reporting agencies. While this doesn't give us an actual count, it does give reasonable estimates for logistical planning and resources. And it helps frame the reality of these undocumented people scattered around the country and helps regional command structures stay focused on the extent of the job. There is quite a bit of info on illegals having a lower crime rate, so much that I expect there is still some truth in what I saw years ago. which is that most of these people don't want to draw attention to themselves by committing crimes and getting themselves deported. But I would rather proceed with this estimate and be pleasantly surprised rather than not have enough resources. |

However, given that there are 20 million illegals in the US that means 2 million ARE drug dealing, rapist, murders. So, this still is big problem for the US. Yes they use the other illegal aliens. Who also broke law for cover. As well as to exploit. And if you or kin are one of the US citizens who are robbed, raped, killed etc. by an illegal alien. 2 million is one too many … SBm+1 OVI+1 |

During interviews, detectives learned the two peacekeepers saw Gamboa move away from the crowd and move into a secluded area behind a wall – behavior they found suspicious. One of the peacekeepers told detectives he saw Gamboa pull out an AR-15-style rifle from a backpack and begin manipulating it. The peacekeepers drew their firearms and ordered Gamboa to drop the weapon. Witnesses reported Gamboa instead lifted the rifle and began running toward the crowd gathered on State Street, holding the weapon in a firing position. In response, one of the peacekeepers fired three rounds. One round struck Gamboa, while another tragically wounded Mr. Ah Loo." |

Many moons ago I wrote radio scripts for a commentary show, fun freelance gig, he'd just say "Next week I need something on crime, something on world affairs and something on technology." One of the ones I wrote was about the fear of rising crime, and I interviewed a guy in the FBI's crime stats division as part of it. I was surprised to find that while crime varies across the country, and poor and inconsistent law enforcement is always linked to higher crime rates, in general: 1. 2% of the population commits 100% of all crime 2. 95% of the population will help someone or return lost property Still amazing to me, but I have to recall the media is incentivized to promote CRIME CRIME FEAR FEAR to get clicks and $$, so while it's always good to be cautious the world is not as dangerous as the media make you feel. |

LOL! The spin from Team Waltz is that the Minnesota Assassin was motivated by the abortion issue. The man is a prominent BLM supporter, he was appointed by Tim Waltz to serve for a State board, he committed the assassination after this democratic rep voted for republican measures, and police found no-kings posters in his car. And Gov Tim Waltz has been caught deleting his texts and email records between himself and the Minnesota Assassin. Why? Sounds like a lefty who snapped, just like the crazed lefty who firebombed a Democrat Governor's home for not being anti-Israel enough. |

OVI & SBm + 1/ea … Basically we can say we have a civil war going on in mostly Blue cities in the USA now. The POTUS did not want a repeat of the summer of 2020. Didn't wait for feckless weak mayors to not call in the NG or were too late. Hopefully this DOJ, FBI, etc. will follow the trial of the $ going to support these rioters, insurgents, criminals, etc. And much of that support is from internal sources. E.g. Soros, Arbella, a number of pro-illegal alien, anti-US, etc. groups. Who get $ from the Soros type, etc. And yes the CCP, Russians, etc. are having $ laundered ending up supporting these rioters as well. Yeah … I'm going with this is a civil war … or at the very least an insurgency. And it solidified during the weak feckless last POTUS, the Admin, the media and many in Congress. Plus many in Congress, the media, etc. are still not giving up their jihad against the USA, the real America and the real Americans … |

Isn't it interesting. The liberals are up in arms about deployment of the National Guard in California. Yet as soon as a handful of illegals were sent to Martha's Vineyard, the NG was activated immediately to "aid" them. "Not in our neighborhood!" All those rich libs could have purchased tents, bought food and set up migrant camps in the parks. Let them stay in their garden houses and on their yachts. Maybe in their spare servants quarters? 🤔 "Yes, the Massachusetts Governor, Charlie Baker, activated the National Guard to assist with the migrants who arrived on Martha's Vineyard in September 2022, according to the New York Post and other sources. The National Guard was called in to provide support and resources for the migrants, who were subsequently moved to Joint Base Cape Cod on the mainland. This move was described as a humanitarian response, as the island communities were not adequately equipped to provide long-term housing and services. " |

Tort I know my areas. 😉 "In the 2024 presidential election, Martha's Vineyard voters overwhelmingly supported Kamala Harris. Here's a breakdown of the voting on the island: Kamala Harris garnered 8,988 votes across all six towns on the island. Donald Trump received 2,721 votes on the island. Overall, Martha's Vineyard strongly favored Kamala Harris, with roughly 70 percent of registered voters casting ballots. This trend is consistent with the broader results across Cape Cod and the Islands, where Harris received some of her highest margins of victory in Massachusetts. For example, in Aquinnah, Harris received 88 percent of the vote." And "In the 2022 Massachusetts gubernatorial election, Martha's Vineyard voters overwhelmingly supported the Democratic candidate, Maura Healey, the state's former attorney general, who received 79% of the votes on the island. This strong support for Healey on Martha's Vineyard surpassed her statewide performance, where she won with approximately 66% of the vote against her Republican opponent, Geoff Diehl. Healey's victory made her the second Democratic governor in three decades and the first woman and openly gay person to hold the office. " Many of the most liberal people in the U.S. are the wealthiest. They can afford to be and are the least impacted by liberal policies ….. Well until some evil red state governor sends illegals into their neighborhood. 😉 I noticed in the last few days, democratic lawmakers saying they should get protection because of the murders in Minnesota. Did they demand protections for CEO's of companies after the United Healthcare CEO was murdered? How about Joe Everyday, when he loses his life to their policies? |

"Hundreds of mostly masked protesters had marched on the streets before sunset, some holding signs reading "Nobody is illegal on stolen land" and "Protect immigrants and refugees." Several were wearing keffiyehs, a symbol often associated with left-wing protest movements." Rioters were later heard chanting, "Who's streets, our streets," Why would one side with these people? They support Hamas. They support antisemitism. They support criminals, be they "only" illegal or far worse. They burn, loot and destroy. They cost trillions of dollars and leave it to those of us who pay taxes to repair and repay. They are probably unemployed, illegal, gang members, paid protesters, students who don't pay their own tuitions, or on the public dole. Obviously! They do this constantly, so could not have private sector jobs. Maybe someone sees something redeeming in them, I obviously don't, or maybe you only support them because your TDS overrides everything else. This is a pattern. It follows along with that of 2020. Frakk it … round them up and they can wait "due process" at Gitmo … The more this 💩 goes on and there are no real punitive actions. It will just continue … Protesting getting violent and/or annoying the general public has become epidemic. So we just let this go on indefinitely? And note all this protesting which may end up being violent or not. What does it actually accomplish ? Beside damaging public and private property, assaulting LEOs, looting, etc., etc. Do these protestors/rioters not see … Nothing is going to happen. Go the way they want it. E.g. the BLM riots did what ? Did anything really change. Save for the founders of this domestic terrorists ripped a lot of people off and took the money and ran. AFAIK none of them have ever been punished ? Or Antifa, same outcome … nothing they do changes what is going to happen in the end. And almost all of them spent no jail time. And they are still doing it ! This sort of thing has become SOP, like a hobby, … Their wealthy supporters, etc., need to be tracked down and punished … E.g. No Bucks … No Buck Rogers" … If most of these rioters don't get paid and are unsupported. Many won't show up. |

This does not sound good on many levels…The First Ammendment is still with us. And it is still first. Disagree with the protestors, but if you jail them for speech, they will become martyrs. The recent assassination of Dems, along with the attempts on Trump last year, just confirm how bad the Great Divide has become. People are losing their marbles over this stuff and attempt horrible "solutions". The guy who shot 45 people at a Walmart in Texas to stop "the Hispanic invasion" comes to mind. Re: the Vineyard, where I could never afford to go… many of the taxpayers there are not residents and cannot vote. Second homes. In general, Trump has almost no support in MA but it does tend to come from the wealthiest voters, who also hate the IRS. The Harris voters would not all be Harris supporters – more like never Trumpers. Residents there include the people who make money serving the billionaire enclaves. Healy is an anomaly. Our governors have also been non MAGA Republicans. |

Protests without violence and looting is fine. That really has not been the case. These have involved both of those. They have also been used to impede ICE from performing their duty. Add to this the antisemitism that has been prevalent in the pro-Hamas and Iran "protests". That is not free speech. Lastly who pays for the damage, trash, looting and police overtime? What about the people impacted by having the police in the streets at these "events" and not there for crime in those same cities? Again I'll say, Trump was elected to close the border and deport the millions of "illegals". All and assassinations, probably missed by many the other day.
