USAID also spent millions to promote transgenderism through various media outlets including using $47,000 USD of taxpayer funds to produce a transgender opera in Colombia, $32,000 USD for a transgender opera in Columbia, $70,000 USD for a "DEI-themed musical" in Ireland and $2 USD million for a "transgender comic book in Peru."

In addition to DEI initiatives, USAIDspent millions to promote media outlets in other countries:
• $20 USD million to produce an Iraqi version of Sesame Street.

• $8 USD million to buy subscriptions to Politico Pro.
• $2.1 USD million to the British Broadcasting System to "strengthen the media ecosystem in Libya."
• $1.3 USD million for Arab and Jewish photographers.
• $1.5 USD million to rebuild the Cuban "media ecosystem."
USAID also has a $150 USD billion climate strategy aimed at building "an equitable world with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions" by 2030. However, it is unclear how much of that money was spent.
Also included on the list was $6 USD million approved by USAID to promote tourism in Egypt, a move that was authorized by the first Trump administration.

Those individuals who did this or let this happen should be in front of Congress. To answer for this improper use of tax payer $. USD And probably demoted or fired. E.g. IF the new POTUS and his admin only just kept the borders totally under control and continued deportations for the next 4 years. 35th, that is my problem with using executive orders. They are not laws. The next president in, if a Democrat, can simply end them and then do his EO's. Thus, I don't see all this "winning" that the right keeps cheering about. You want to win then get the Republican controlled Congress to start passing laws. Otherwise, all this can disappear, poof, in a few years.

Also, there is far less accountability. Trumps poll numbers are starting to slip. Congress has disappeared, too afraid Musk will primary them as he says he will if they oppose anything.

The "investigations" are not following best practices. They had already decided what they were going to find, so they have to back it up. It doesn't work that way, and it can destroy credibility, which is very much needed on this. Poor judgement in assuming that everyone would be cheering. People are still worried about the economy, and that is driven by continuing high prices and fear of the tariffs.

I am concerned by the cuts in defense and the CIA and air traffic controllers. Defense is given a few days to make vast cuts. How can anyone know in that short of time who is doing a good job and who isn't? What is important and what can be cut. This whole walk into a department and throw a grenade approach I don't think is wise and we will come to have regrets. We cut the waste and find the mismanagement but it doesn't have to be this fast. Take the time and do it right.

1. Don't know what the cuts in Defense are, nothing announced yet. BUT we know that DoD has admitted to not knowing where hundreds of billions of $$ were spent. Every wasted $$ threatens the lives of our troops and our security.

2. CIA is totally corrupt, partisan and inept in its large operations – like the failed Wagner Coup attempt against Putin. Dissolve it, build a new non-partisan agency with clearly defined roles and limits.

3. No Air Traffic Controllers have been fired, and as mentioned those fired were in some sort of administrative function not a critical safety function.

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has been accused of hypocrisy for dismissing the idea of distributing $5,000 USD DOGE checks to Americans when she has previously favored some form of reparation payments.

NYT is no friend, I agree, but they have trained reporters and journalists whose core info is often right. In this case I don't know. But people post Gateway and Brietbart here, and they are not staffed with reporters.

But I would rather have fully qualified business and accounting top of the line people like Deloitte come in and do this.
