Good thing the Dems upheld that old norm of engaging with whatever ideas the opposition presented, rather than declaring them "extremist" and using the court system and law enforcement to pressure their opponents into silence or acquiescence. Legion, it was very hard for me not to vote. I have never done this. But I felt Harris was unqualified and Trump was unfit on most levels. Many Dems and independents did not turn out for this election. I don't ever see much evidence of Hunter and Biden committing crimes, although I believe they did. I have seen enough of Trump to form an opinion regarding his ability to manage large organizations transparently. His personal life does not much matter to me.

I still hope he will become a better leader somehow now that he is in. I wish him luck for all our sakes. These next months, the promises will come due. The bombast will be adjusted as reality sets in, I think. We will see how he leads.
