Behind the scenes, we've had a wild month of it!

I had to cut my hours back for a while, as I've been dealing with some minor health challenges. At the moment, I'm back to feeling good (fingers crossed). Also had a strange incident where my security software got into an argument with my other security software, and shut my system down for a few hours. (They're friends again now.)

In the category of Strange Things That Happen in the Tropics, our own Editor Gwen got flooded again. I'm told the house is 'broken' but still habitable. The local politicians say they'll do something about flood control someday. Then Gwen got an earache, which she thought was due to the floodwaters, so she took antibiotics but the pain got worse. Lo and behold (shudder) the doctor found she had a cockroach in her ear! The flood-refugee bug has now been relocated, and Gwen is going back today for a final follow-up visit.

Editor Dianna has been having her own challenges too. Put this into the category of They Don't Make It Like They Used To, or in other words, equipment in the Philippines tends to be low quality Chinese products. Her mouse recently broke. (I don't think I've ever had a mouse break…) Then she finds out nobody sells individual mice there any more. They sell keyboard-and-mouse sets! Supposedly because most Filipinos use phones to access the internet.

Editor Katie is doing well, but her grandmother is sick again.

We fell behind earlier this month on TMP, but we're now caught up on everything except some of the email and PMs. Working on it!
