'Twas painting up some Armies in Plastic AWI figures last night and finally teased out that the ridge of plastic I was painting was, in fact, some sort of cord on the uniform.

I scoured the internet and found one picture of what is on my figure. First image; it's the artillery private to the left of the Lt.

Anyone know what that is? It looks like a fourragère?
