What rules would you suggest for the 1966 Sand Pebbles movie action at the rope boom? I am thinking a 1 man 1 figure skirmish set is required to capture all the dramatic action.

There aren't many rule set options that cover all aspects of such scenarios, but "Boilers And Breechloaders" was primarily designed just for them.

Indeed, I and alte kameraden played that very scenario any number of times back in the 80's using the early versions.

Okay, so I'm still a self-serving opportunist, but these are the complete rules you'll want at least to read for ideas, if not use in their entirety.
