As I've a better camera set I made photos of the Cantler series published earlier – I'll also add the images of the second series, which weren't published online before. The staff, infantry and cavalry images are online, the others will come soon … you find the Cantler section of my uniform portal at: link Together with the Müller/Braun book and plates these images are the best source for the Bavarian troops you may get – even if these weren't contemporary. I'll add posts in this thread after having added the next images. Greetings from Berlin Markus Stein |

Markus, a great source. Thanks One question; did Cantler also uniforms of the French Revolutionary period? |

For earlier uniforms have a look at "Die Uniformen der Bayerischen Armee, von 1682 bis 1848" by F. Münich,… und L. Behringer, link |

Thank you for your nice comments … and a special thank to Prince for the link to the Münich/Behringer. Unfortunately Gallica is very slow and it takes a very long time until the plates could be loaded. But the first series of plates done by Cantler are published online – you find the 214 images of different units covering the 1800 to 1815 period at link And there are still more to come as I'm now preparing the second plate series, not published online before.
