I've been hard at work on my Waterloo project and have produced three battalions of French infantry for Charlet's Brigade, which is shown advancing north just to the east of La Haye Sainte.

The figures are a mix of plastic and metal. The rear battalion is almost all by an old make called RSM. The lead battalions are by Art Miniaturen, NapoleoN, Schilling and various plastics. There is also a Zvezda/Hat horse battery. They are in the standard six company French battalion organisation with four fusilier, one grenadier and one voltigeur company each of 100 men. In all there are some 2,000 figures. You have to imagine that La Haye Sainte is to their left and the sandpit is to their front.

Hope you enjoy. More here on my blog: generalpicton.blogspot.com

Thanks folks, it was quite a lot of work. In parallel, stalwarts of the project have been working on various Allied batteries. I await with anticipation Deadhead's amazing Dutch battery.

More fantastic work by you and your contributors!

Just for your information, the 20mm RSM Napoleonic line is still available from the Dayton Painting Consortium here in the US.

Another prodigious output from the Good Captain.

Excellent stuff in the Grand Manner, the only way to depict Napoleonic battles in my opinion.

Best wishes ,

Chris
