More terrifying for the Dutch than the Japanese, I think. I love crappy 1930's era armour and the Dutch East Indies is a great campaign for putting them to war.
Oh boy, and another one of these. . . youtube.com/watch?v=HjQxegUv5qg |

Very effective paint job to make something fairly simple "pop" and stand out to the eye with the use of the vegetation and the Dutch triangle insignia. They used some very obsolete and anachronistic armor it seems. I recall they also used an armored lorry or armored car as well. Not sure anyone makes it in 15mm. |

I thought about this campaign years ago but I couldn't find appropriate figures. You even get Japanese paraptroopers if I remember correctly. Nice work. |

I mean, if all you have is a rifle and grenades its still pretty scary. |

Marmon Herington CTLS-4TAC IIRC. At least I am pretty sure it was the 4TAC that had the turret on the left side and the 4TAY had it on the right. Oh and the Vickers Dutchman light tank. Very nice. |

My father's last wartime posting was on the staff with British XV corps in Java. He recalled the strange experience of watching Japanese army officers as they turned up each morning in front of the HQ building, bowing and waiting to receive their orders. |
